I ordered the medium and the low profile rings for a scope that is difficult to mount. I wasn’t sure which rings would accommodate the unique mounting challenges. I ended up using the low profile rings but the two are the same except for the profile. I can say that the rings have been great so far. I have taken the rifle out into the woods a couple of times since mounting the scope with these rings and I am impressed. The gun has remained sighted in even after trudging through the thick dense forest

There is a lot to like about these scope mounts. They're feel really well built, with substantially thick aluminum and 3 bolts per side. Would really grip a scope firmly on something like a magnum break barrel or high recoil rifle.The machining appears to be really clean, and the thumb screws rotate smoothly and clamp down nicely.Unfortunately there is no real industry standard regarding how high a low/med/high profile scope mount should sit, and that brings me to my only real complaint about these.They're listed as "high profile" but they're more of a medium profile mount. 1.18"/29mm to the center of the scope would be considered medium from most other brands. 1.35"/34mm is what I'd call high profile.Because these are mid height rings, they do not allow the scope to clear the magazine on my PCP air rifle, so I can't use them for my intended purpose. I had to order a taller set. So these will get used on a different rifle, most likely one of my .22 cal break barrels.Aside from the sizing issue, these really are impressive for the price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as an inexpensive scope mounting option as long as you don't need the extra clearance.

Even though seller has in description "picatinny" in my application I was mounting a Strikefire II (30mm tube) on an Encore barrel with a Weaver rail (this is the only rail tapped for Encore/Contender barrels). Unfortunately for me the slots in this rail are more narrow than the Pic rail (tension screw does not fit) so I had to modify the slot with my Dremel. Seller could update description with this info, I know this is probably an isolated incident but that's why 3 stars for ease of install. Great product, sent out very quickly!
