Handy clamps for temporarily pinching off a vacuum or fuel line. The hex on the wing nut is nice so you can use a socket to tighten it.

this item shipped and arrived fast. These line clamps and drill attachment tool are very well made of solid stainless steel. These clamps are a medium sized clamp that would have no problem clamping lines the size of fuel lines up to radiator hoses. This tool is very easy to use and convenient for lines that do not have a shut of valve. These clamps grip tight and shut off the fluid supply. Using the included hex head, deep well drill attachment makes for fast and very easy tightening of the line clamps. These could be used around the house, working on vehicles, hobbies and so much more. The price is very fair. I rated these 5 stars.

The clamps came packaged in a clear, hard side plastic case which is handy for keeping them when not in active use. This plastic box is more robust than a lot of others. I have seen many similar boxes that are very brittle, and those often arrive already cracked or chipped. I was happy to see that this one is stronger.The clamps themselves are durable and well made. The main L-shaped body of the clamp is a beefy, solid piece of metal. Then a stainless steel right angle bolt is fed through a hole in the body with a wide, thick butterfly nut threaded onto the end, which draws the bolt in tight to mouth of the clamp. This setup effectively cuts off the flow in the hose it's attached to.The thing that really sets this clamp apart from others I have seen is the inclusion of a hex shaped protrusion which is molded into the outward facing surface of the nut. This allows the included deep well impact bit to fit onto it for tightening. This is my favorite feature, because it is not only easier on the fingers but gets the clamp a lot tighter.Until now, I have used vise-grips to pinch off hoses and the rough texture of the jaws can leave marks and cause damage. So this is real game changer for my projects.All-in-all, I like this clamp set.

These tools are very well made. And they work well on smaller softer hoses. but when I tried on new 3/8" fuel line hose it was hard to get the hose to pinch shut enough to stop any liquid that may be in the hose. It was tightened until you could not turn the wing nut any furthers and the hose was barely compressed. I tried to show this in the photo but it may not be apparent. Otherwise small engines and lawn tools with smaller softer fuel lines this will work well and pinch tight enough to stop liquid from spilling out., These are well made stainless steel and the wing nut is very easy to turn and tighten. The tools come disassembled so you will need to insert the threaded 'L' piece into the groove and then spin the wing nut on and that's it. They will fit in the carry case so I'm not sure why they did not come assembled. Included is a hex tool that fits most hose clamps to make life easier. It too is very well made and heavy built to last like the pinch tools. I would recommend these unless you need to pinch Automotive fuel lines then you will prefer a pinch pliers instead. Small engine lines these work great.
