This was easy to assemble and looks very beautiful. The only thing that I fid not like is that it had a strong chemical odor that reminded me of varnish. I always worry when things have an odor that you’re going to put food directly on.

I had to sand it down and pour the mineral oil to season the boards.It does look really nice after all the elbow grease work I put into

I love the way it looks. Served is use well, however, the surface of the wood is very rough and hard to clean properly. I plan on sanding the entire thing down with fine grit sandpaper to eliminate the varnish and smooth the surface. I'll finish it with a coat of olive oil.
