Says 3-in kit but it's actually 3 in to 2 1/2 in what's even worse is when you have to go spend half what you just spent on this kit to buy the proper clamp to make it work with a 3 inch inlet do not recommend save your money and go to AutoZone their kits just are worth it right out of the box this one not so much worst 30 I've ever spent

This product did not specifically state that it fit my car but it is a "universal" (one size fits all) type which suggests that it'll fit most vehicles. For mine it is not even close, and this makes me wonder if it would fit most cars - Subarus do use a "boxer" (horizontally-opposed cylinder) design which is only used by them and Porsche, while every other maker does their 4-cyl engines "in line", not sure how much this impacts things but I consulted with a mechanic who correctly predicted that the main issue with these "universal" intake replacements is that there may not be enough room in the engine bay to fit them. I showed him the picture of this one after I'd already ordered it and his prediction was that with that nice-looking giant circular filter that goes on the end of the tube, many cars won't have enough space in the engine bay to accommodate that. I wish I'd looked up what the OEM replacement part for my car looks like before requesting this item because I'd have realized there's no way it would fit. If you are considering buying this product my advice is to do that, first. Uploaded pics here are meant to demonstrate how mismatched the size is for my engine.

I was a little tricky to scale down from 4 in to 3 in but we got it in and it looks and sounds great.

It's a cheap air filter. Nothing special. This thing screams China. Even smells like China rubber. With that being said I've using some of it's parts on my current intake setup.

Cheap little 'cold' air intake kit. I wouldn't call it a cold air intake its more of a short ram and I can't think of any engine bay that this would have the filter sit away from all the hot air.
