Like that it holds enough water. Easier to fill than an automatic fill. Material is better that plastic.

We have two large labs and they drink a TON of water. We used to have one of those plastic auto-fill ones where you fill the large jug and it dumps into the smaller bowl with gravity. It was hard to clean and we would have to bleach it regularly to keep it from growing algae. It was ridiculous. I saw this and decided it was worth a shot. If it didn't work out, I could use it for something else. Well I am SO HAPPY with this! We also got a silicone mat to put under it so it doesn't slide around and it catches the water they slop around. With the large size, they actually don't slop much water out of it, which is amazing! It's super easy to regularly wash. We just throw it in the dishwasher! And we use a cheap pitcher to refill it so that we don't have to carry it back and forth from the sink. This bowl really is SO worth it!

I recently bought a large dog bowl for water, and it's been a game-changer for our hot Arizona summers. The size is perfect for keeping plenty of water available for our dog throughout the day, reducing the need for constant refills. The sturdy, durable material withstands the heat and doesn't tip over easily, even when our dog gets excited. It also keeps the water cool for longer, which is crucial in the scorching temperatures here. Our dog is staying hydrated and happy, and we couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

Okay it's a pan that holds water. Who wants to spend 25 bucks on a pan that holds water ? Well ME I do✋️ Here's why, Hazel here has a water drinking disability. She fills the mouth up full and let's it sloooowly flow out into a very impressive kitchen lake puddle to which she finds it very comfortable to lay in most times or finds it entertaining when the hoomans do the splits in it. We are old the splits don't work out for us anymore. When Hazel is excited Hazel likes to drag, dig and watch the bubbles from the the gravity water deal we had. I came home one day to find the entire 3 gallon water feeder on her dog bed and water all over. She really had it out for that thing. So..It was time. I scoured amazon. I looked at those expensive ones with the deals inside to "calm" aggressive drinkers and 50 bucks and up, mixed reviews. I priced the fountain type even more expensive not great reviews. When your in the situation we're in it's literally trial and error and who has money to spend wasting on trial and errors. I decided to spend 25 bucks on a pan. It's pricey to me I didn't check walmart, sams or resturant shops, kinda wish I had this is basically a food service pan. Sometimes it's good to just splurge on convenience, and 25 is better than 50. I figured if it don't serve the purpose I intended I could still use it for something else. In oppose to a expensive drinking system that don't work it would end up a donated waste. I got a small chenille very absorbent rug, also amazon for like 14 bucks. So 40 bucks I have a 3 gallon fairly deep and good width water pan and rug. It has cleared up almost all issues. I no longer have to trash my good towels or keep a mop close by. I keep a good 3 inches from the top so it's not flooding out the sides when she guzzles. So it does have to be changed and filled every two days. The gravity I couldnt fill at all so now I can help hubs with the dog water chores. He LOVES that. The dogs get fresher water more often. The interest in grabbing, scratching, terrorizing the water bowl has stopped completely. The rug picks up what flows out and so far it's never been drenched. It dries quickly aswell. It's been down for a month and I haven't even washed it yet. My floors are no longer wet and trashed and dangerous. Every now and then with excitement there will be some water that passes the rug but nothing like before. I'm happy with this system. It looks fairly okay and neat. Redoing the house so I will move this into the Landry room where it's out of sight but in the meantime I don't mind looking at it. The problems are solved. Happy with the purchases.

I run a kennel and bought these instead of the bottle sort for outside. They are great quality and our dogs are happy with them.

This container is excellent for dog waterer. My dogs chewed up all the plastic types but they don't seem to like the taste of steel. No rust and it is outside all the time. easy clean up as well.

We used to have the jug that slow fills the bowl. We were constatly filling it and with our zoo it was getting old. This is an amazing change. It holds so much water! Even though we may need to fill it more than the old bowl but it doesn't feel like it cause the base holds more than the other one. It stays cleaner than the older bowl. Cleaning it is easy! Its got high edges but the cats can drink out of it easy.Prosdeep edgesholds a ton of watereasy to cleanConheavy when filled if you have to walk fardepending on how many animals you have may empty quicklyif have a small space this is large.

This is a good pan for dogs but it is much smaller than it looks in the pictures, unless those dogs are really small. Kind of expensive for that small of a pan. It DOES hold 3 gallons, though. I just thought it would be bigger.

Have only had water in it for a couple of days but so far so good. Seems strong & well made. I bought it as a local wildlife bird bath, have others but wanted this for bigger birds.
