I wanted to try making my own regular chocolate bars and was glad I came across these. These make REGULAR chocolate bars, NOT the stuffed (Dubai) kind, which is exactly what I wanted. The moulds are easy to use and clean thanks to the silicone. They are uniform in shape and make it easy to break the chocolate once it is out. It is a great deal for the price and I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to make their own standard chocolate bars.

These were just what I needed to make chocolate bars. The size replicates the size of a regular chocolate bar. The chocolate once solidified popped out easily making it easy to clean. The mold doesn’t have any weird smells and it is very sturdy.

This was my first attempt at making chocolate bars in a mold. Looked at several easy recipes and decided on one with coconut oil, cocoa, vanilla and Maple Syrup & dash salt. I wasn't able to "pour " the chocolate into the molds as I heated it too much. I pressed the thick paste like mess into the bar molds, stuck them in the freezer and waited. Well, much to my surprise the top of the bars look great coming out of the molds! The bars released easily and broke at the lines when I snapped them. Neat! Didn't taste bad either, nice & smooth, although I'll add more maple syrup next time. I'm pleased with this 2-piece Bar Mold and will definitely try again; it could be my new hobby!!

It's a good size and if you handle it carefully, keyword, "carefully" it'll be ok. For me personally, is too flimsy, once i put anything in it, then it's almost impossible to move it, unless you use a flat tray under it or something. So far I've managed to make a big mess, the few times I used it. Would've been great if the frame was sturdy. All that said, It had no problem with the dishwasher and the little cubes come out perfect and their perfect depth and size.

This item is not deep. It will only make a standard chocolate bar size. Quality seems good.
