I have a bicycle for my 8 year old, and it's not really the fault of this product because there is a picture that has dimensions even if it's not written in the description, but these are super short. They're actually too short for my 8 year old's handles to get full use to the shifter, and still even a little small for his hand. I would probably only get this for basically a very little kid's first starter bike if needed, unless someone really liked a short stubby grip.

Don't get these thinking they're for standard shifter applications--these are NOT long enough to accommodate an adult hand. These might be fine for a kids bike though!Again, only meant to be paired with twist shifters... where the shifter itself acts as roughly 1/3 of the handrest area.The quality here isn't bad. Grippy, but fairly supple. It doesn't hurt my hand when resting on it. Note that the barends are closed, so if you plan to use your own barplugs or you use bar ends (extensions), you'll need to take a razor to the end and slice off that area.
