The springs themselves appear to be fine. My only gripe, that earns them 3 stars, is that someone made a mistake and instead of sending a pair of springs, left and right, they sent basically two rights. The right side spring will not work on the left because of how the spring is bent and how it installs into the controller. Before you start replacing springs make sure you have a mirrored pair or else you will have to go thru the replacement process like I am doing in order to complete the repair job..
