Easy to set up and works as it should. On occasion there is an issue opening from a certain range but I found it happens less often or when I don't press the button in the middle of the pad. Sometimes my finger may be on the side of the pad and is not recognized. My only con is that the quality of the fob could use an upgrade. Looks a little cheap yet seems durable as I've accidentally dropped the fob several times over the past few months; it has not cracked or stopped working.

This was easy to set up, but the opener itself has a delay when operating. I suppose this is a security feature to prevent operation by nefarious characters. In any case, once set up, just press the button once, then WAIT. It might take several seconds to operate. Again, this is not the remote, but a function of the opener. These work at an amazing distance, at least when the battery is new. I clicked it from several houses away, and the door was open when I got to my garage. One problem is that due to the delay, one has a tendency to push the button a second time, which causes the door to start open, then stop immediately. As stated, just be patient after pressing the button.Set up was fairly easy. It would have been easier if I read the instructions more closely, rather than manstalling it without really looking at the manual. Even manstalling them can be done, with just a bit more trial and error, as I found out doing the first one.

I ride a motorcycle, got this to put on the keychain and it works well. Allows me to press it without stopping, as well as take it with me instead of leaving it mounted on motorcycle or something. The buttons can be a little stiff (especially with gloves), not difficult or an issue, but you do need to give them a firm press. That, plus somewhat small buttons mean that with my gloves I might press the other buttons as well, but since I only have one garage programed that's not an issue for me and I just press them all.Stiff buttons also seem to prevent accidental presses well. Have only had it press by accident once while in a pocket with other stuff and then sat on; other keys in loose pocket don't trigger it.Have had a few times when you press it and it doesn't open the door, but I feel like that's all garage door openers so I wasn't surprised. If anything, I think it fails less than others or maybe I was just expecting it to be much worse considering the price and make.Programing was easy but ensure that it will work for your particular garage door.Very light, plastic seems hollow in places and perhaps not the most durable but haven't had any issue with that aspect so far.Overall, works well, suits my needs well, buttons need a firm press.

This spare Genie garage door opener remote 2-pack was easy to program and works just like the original. Inexpensive extra remotes for when leaving/returning on foot or bike.
