These are sturdy, holding in place well. Stiff enough to minimize flex on your patches, but flexible enough to move with your gear.Instead of one flat surface upon which to place patches, the hook and loop straps need to be applied to the display side of the panel. This may make presentation of multiple patches more challenging, but I believe this gives them a much sturdier hold and lower profile desirable in situations where you'd typically want Molle compatibility.In addition, it is possible to attach it to a single slightly wider strap (up to 4cm) if desired.
