I mostly purchased the - 2-in-1 Mini Bag Sealer with Cutter - Rechargeable Heat Sealer, Snack Bag Sealer for Chips, Food Storage & Resealing,Portable Resealer Machine Sealer, Bag Closer for Freshness, Plastic Bags & Snacks – for home use but I also thought that perhaps I would be able to use it for a quick seal on the poly tubing bags that I use at my place of business. Here is what my experience with this mini bag sealer has been like...I first tried this at home to seal a bag of potato chips. After many attempts and some practice, I found the only way I can get this mini sealer to work is I have to begin making the seal, and or cut, at the center of the bag and then swipe out to the edges. I then found it difficult to get the two seals to match in the center of the bag. The chip bag did seal up nicely as long as I ran the sealer across the bag slowly. See attached photos.The cutter tool in this mini sealer ends up ripping the potato chip bag every single time. I have found it to be easier to grab the scissors to cut the bag instead of using this mini sealer and cutter.I tried this mini-sealer to seal poly tubing bags; both 1 mil and 2 mil. This mini- sealer sealed both thicknesses of bags however, it also cut into the bag at the seal. This is most likely due to the sealer being too hot. See attached photos. Because of this, I won’t be able to use this at my place of business.Overall, I don’t feel as if this mini sealer is the most convenient tool for me. I find it to be just as easy to grab a bag-clip and a pair of scissors.

In the box is the sealer, a USB-C charge cable and an instruction sheet. There is a power switch so it just won't heat up when you press the sealing button. When charging the LED is red.There is a knife blad for cutting open the bags, just press the button, power is not required. To reseal the bag then you need to turn on the power switch. Then you press the Sealing Bag button and glide it across the bag. That's all there is to it.

It’s very awkward to use and you need to pre-heat it for quite a long time before it seals correctly. The cutter is also hard to use because it only cuts in one direction.

This 2-in-1 Mini Bag Sealer with Cutter - Rechargeable Heat Sealer is a great item to have! It is really nice being able to use it to seal your chip bags, snack bags and more. I love being able to keep my items fresh! I also love that this is rechargeable and I don't have to worry about batteries.

I like to store food in mylar bags to preserve it long term. I recently needed to take a portion of food out of one of my mylar bags and then reseal it. Instead of using a flat iron, which I previously used, I tried out this little mini bag sealer to see if it would do the job just as well.I cut open the bag, took out the food I wanted, turned on the device, and tried it. It didn’t really seal the bag at first, so I gave it a little more time to warm up (I have to do that with the flat iron, too). That’s what it needed! It then easily resealed the mylar bag. I took it nice and slow and went over it a few times just to be sure I got a perfect seal. I put an oxygen absorber in there and when I came back the next day, it had sucked the air out of the bag and made a brick out of the contents. This proves I had a good seal! So it worked!This little bag sealer is small and cute! It’s easy to hold and it takes up very little space to store. It also has a protected blade for cutting open bags. Handy little item! Does the flat iron work better for mylar bags? Well, yes, because it has a longer surface area. However, this little mini sealer is handy to have in the kitchen for resealing potato chip bags, etc. I like it!
