Very nice set with a nice case. The hex shank makes for quick changes between different items…drill bits, screwdriver bits, sockets, etc

This is a very "conflicted" review. My first impression of this bit set was all positive; they are sharp, well-marked, and appear to be machined well out of high-quality materials, even down to the case and indexed holder bars. Based on the overall QUALITY of the set, it's an easy 5 stars!My issue with it, however, is in the DESIGN of the bits, as the actual fluted portions of the smaller bits only cover about half of their length. This, combined with the fact that they are relatively shorter than other 'general purpose' sets, makes them unusable in many situations (including when using a drill guide as shown in my photos). While I REALLY want to love this set for its overall quality, I've just found that too often I'll attempt to use one of these bits only to discover they are just not long enough for the job at hand, forcing me to go grab another bit.For the sake of comparison, I've included photos of the 1/8" bit from this set beside the same-sized bit from Dewalt & Craftsman. Note that the DeWalt (hex shank) bit is a full 7/8" longer in length, and the Craftsman (round shank), despite being the same overall length, is cut at least 5/8" further down the bit shaft.The overall usefulness of this set would be 3 stars (or less), but considering the quality of their build, rating them as such just didn't feel right. For the right applications in which the fluted depth is not critical, this would be a slam-dunk great purchase. Unfortunately for me, they're likely to be relegated to 'emergency backup' status.

These were a little shorter then I thought they would be but maybe I won't break them as often. Haven't used them yet but they seem more then adequate for wood. I can't say I've had any 1/16" drill bits used for metal that I've thought were overly impressive. If they prove terrible I'll update my revue.

I’m not sure how high quality these bits are but the case is nice and the extra bits in common sizes are convenient.

TRUTH BE TOLD: I needed some drill bits and after searching on Amazon, I found JEFE HEX. I took a chance on this set, because of their hex shank design, bits quality and the cost. FACTs: For what I required to keep my home projects in optimal condition ... These bits are exactly what I needed. However, their durability is yet to be experienced with time. ADDED FACTs: I'm blessed with this 5 pcs Impact Driver Drill Bits set.

Great set of bits. Work great in my dwalt cordless. Yes. They are shorter bits as stated in their description. Not sure what people don't read and then complain

i thought these were a bit expensive when i purchased them. They fit my drill well and are quite sharp.My problem is that for what i paid, they do not last.....the are temper hardened as expected but i believe a bit too much..they are brittle!in a matter of two weeks and drilling @ 6 holes, i have already snapped off two bits!I will go back to buying black n decker or Irwins.........
