Works well for seed starting. Very close to 3 inches. The bottom trays are a waste though.

I purchased these because I had been propagating multiple pieces of plants that broke off or partially died and this allowed me to plant lots of them into soil and as they grow I will transplant them into larger pots they are a decent thickness there pretty sturdy and very cute.

So the product does what it’s supposed to do. It is a pot with a little drain catch on the bottom. They’re a little cheaper than I expected. There’s scratches all over them from them being one inside the other and it’s very flimsy plastic. I would say if you’re trying to use them as a decorative piece or something like that I wouldn’t recommend them just because of the scratches all over them if you’re using them as just a pot aren’t really concerned about that or the flimsiness then they’re perfectly fine. I just need them as pots. What I am putting in them is not gonna stay in them very long so for me they’re perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with them. They will serve their purpose.I would say the only reason I gave them 4 stars is not even so much for the flimsiness. It’s more that just every pot has scratches from being one pot inside of other.

These little pots are perfect for plant babies or seedlings. I love that they come with little trays to catch drainage from the holes. They’re stronger material and thicker than the little nursery pots you usually get.

I use these to go up a size for my garden seedlings. It's the next size up from the 6 pod tray. They are pretty thick, durable and yet I can bend it to get the seedling out without cracking it. The drainage holes are a good size and the value was good.
