I recommend this sissy bar I bought it for my free wheeler not only does it give it a nice clean finished look but it is a nice quality and will do the job of a sissy bar when needed.

They sent metric screws - I tried to install into my H-D RG3 . . . The screws not only got jammed and had to be cut loose - I broke the cheap nut attachments - 🤬

Looks real good on the Freewheeler, there are a few issues though. You will have to use your old bolts to mount it, the bolts provided are the wrong ones. QC is not great there were some scratches on the paint, I'm for now not going to return it, I will take to powder coating later.Update: Well I've had it on there now about a month. My wife says the backrest is too small and when leaning over to get things out of the trunk I've brained myself at least 4 times now on the top point (It hurts alot). I've taken it off and put the stock one back on, I'm outside the return window otherwise I would return it.

Backrest is beautifully finished and welded. The 2 screws connecting the the tubes to the brackets should have been 3 screws for better stability. You will need to position the backrest on the brackets all the way towards the back of the Freewheeler so that it is stable. You will need to use the original screws from your original backrest mount that connects the brackets to the trike. I think the supplied screws are metric thread. The washers provided do not cover the oblong holes on the bottom of the mount, so you will need larger stainless steel washers for a cleaner looking install. Overall this is a good deal considering that similar size custom backrests for the Freewheeler are $600.00 plus. The cushion is somewhat comfortable for short rides, it hits you in the small of your back, unlike the stock backrest that wraps around your mid back. Don't forget to use locktite on all fasteners.

I was worried that the trunk would not be able to open all the way up because it looks like the top curves to far back but I was wrong. It fit great and my trunk opens all the way. It looks great and it's well made. The only thing that I found wrong was that the screws were to big I had to use the old ones.
