Product Features:
- Performer intake manifolds are low-rise, dual-plane designs with runner tuning and a 180 degree firing order that you won't find with the competition. This combination boosts torque over a wide rpm range, from idle to 5,500 rpm. These manifolds also deliver improved throttle response over stock intakes.
- Fits for Chevrolet 262-400 Small-Block V8 Engines is Designed for 1986 & Earlier Street Application. Accepts (4150-Style) or Q-Jet Carburetors. Will also Fit 1987-Up stock aluminum heads (does not fit 1987-Up cast iron or Chevrolet Bow Tie heads).
- Has un-machined boss for oil-fill tube. Accepts late model choke, water neck, air conditioning, alternator, and HEI. When using a HLY Double-Pumper series carburetor a low profile vacuum fitting EDL-8096 must be used.

Im looking forward to having my new Intake manifold on my 1974 El Camino, but there are some questions on how this cover is to be used, and why they have a big opening here in the first place. I contacted the seller and they misunderstood my question and thought i was asking about the EGR valve, but as you can see there is no EGR valve in the 2101, and i want to use my automatic choke bimetallic spring, so I asked for assistance and became even more confused about how this cover is to be installed over the hole in the center port. They make no mention of it in the instructions. i hope to get the right response soon. it does look like a good quality upgrade manifold, Thank you for listening.
