I use this with all my D I Y landing gear. I used to use glue globs. With the collets, the wheels stop falling off!

I’m building foam airplanes from flitetest.com. I have a couple that have 1/8” (3.175mm) landing gear wire and a couple that have 3/32”. These stoppers are made to fit 3mm wire, so they don’t quite fit on 1/8” wire, but with just a tiny bit of drilling using a 1/8” drill bit, they fit perfectly. They also fit the 3/32” wire with an acceptable amount of slop. I’m happy that I didn’t have to buy two different sizes, and now my wheels won’t pop off when I have a hard landing.

Description gives inner diameter as 0.12 inch. This is misleading. This stopper fits a 3 mm shaft. Allen wrench provided for the hardened set screws. All good quality.
