Tested with a 5V supply and white LED, switching was responsive and repeatable.Note the barely visible light emitted from the LED in my photo where I'm attempting to block the IR beam with a black partition. Some trace of ambient sunlight was making its way in and allowing some current to flow through the collector/emitter half of the circuit.This linear response broadens project possibilities from simple 'blocked/not-blocked' triggering to measuring various material opacities, etc.5 stars across the board for me here and would absolutely order again.

I got these to use in a 3d printer project. The sensors were straight forward to use and worked in my application. I would recommend them to others.
