This item is amazing. I was really surprised that this tiny microphone has such power. The sound quality is perfect. My son does his podcast and he can now do it on the go. I’m very happy with this purchase I would buy this set again.

easy to connect and sounds good. My son uses this to interview people for the school blog and both interviewer and interviewee can be hear clearly and simple to use with his apple device

I sometimes have some zoom or skype call from my computer and so far I have a clip-on usb mike for the sound input. But it has happened that I forgot afterwards and just got up - - did not work with the mike still plugged in and clipped to my collar. Now I just plug the receiver into my usb port and my lapel mike to - you guessed - my lapel and go about my business.

These (2) microphones are neat and light, and communicate wirelessly with a dongle/adapter that you can plug into the USB socket on your phone.The wireless connection is specific to the device (i.e. not Bluetooth), and allows for a pretty decent range. I had no connections issues at about 40ft with nothing blocking, could probably have gone further. I had some occasional breakup of audio at this distance when there were a few of walls in between the phone and the microphones.Audio quality seemed a little better than using my phone’s microphone. I found the lavalier microphones worked even when they were not right next to my mouth. There was, of course, a noticeable drop off in volume between a few inches away and a foot or two away.Note: initially I had issues with my Android (v11, on a Motorola) because it seems the basic camera app always seems to use the phone’s microphone. I ended up installing a different app that did allow audio input selection. I did not have to modify (actually, could not find anything to modify) in the phones settings to use the lavalier mics.Pretty happy with these, seems like they would be a good choice for creating videos etc.

The only complaint I have is my cat keeps trying to steal it!The shipping for this was extremely slow, so watch out for that.These microphones are excellent! I used them right out of the box, me and my son plugged them into my phone and they immediately worked!Very little tweaking is needed, just press the buttons and you're off!I was able to make a short little recording and the audio was very crisp and loud, so that's great!I might try doing a podcast with these
