I needed some thing setting block/strips for a slight non-90 degree glass placement. These strips were easy enough to work with, and are thin enough that one can step them several layers thick where needed to get exactly level. They compress a bit, maybe 20% in my application with fur feet of 3/8 glass resting on these strips. but that happens with any setting blocks for a given weight of glass.That leaves question of yellowing, which usually one will see after a few years. So that is difficult to deal with in a review. I have had top quality silicon blocks yellow in a couple of years. PVC is known to yellow as well,. It really depends on whether the maker added special anti yellow additives. I am afraid I cannot give any advice on that since the Amazon evaluation program stipulates I review the products quickly. I will say I will return to note any yellowing that occurs prematurely (less than five years).
