They run a little big so like another reviewer said, I had to trim one to get it to fit. These would be ideal if they were just a little smaller. If you want end caps for 1" x 2" then the cap insert cannot be the full 1"x2" so make them a touch smaller to FIT a 1"x2" tube, not be 1"x2" and be a touch too big.

I got mine packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. There was another bag inside of that one. It was vacuumed to the point some of them had deformed. Overkill on the packaging.I use these caps a lot on projects. I'm a welder, so plastic caps are one of my staples to keep down the cost of welding caps on the ends of tubing. My go to brands are expensive, so I've always got my eye out for a cheaper product. These were cheap, really cheap for the quantity. I have paid 4 times as much with my normal brand. They are also cheaply made. Not to say that they are cheap quality, but it is really thin plastic and they should be used on thin tubing like on furniture or such. I wouldn't use them for anything that I was going to keep outside.That being said, I was able to hammer one of them into some tubing with a fairly thick wall without issue. The corners don't really match, because they are made for lighter tubing where the corner radius is much smaller. For the right application, I think they would look nice and be long lasting. Probable where the wall thickness is .065 or thinner.

These end caps are well-made. Some of the edges are a little rough, but not bad enough to worry about. They arrived vacuum-packed, so some of them looked a little deformed initially; but the actual flat ends were fine, and the insert flanges straightened a little after being unpacked. They fit perfectly, and are holding very well, in the 1"x2" square steel tubing I ordered them for.
