It is a rubber whip so your horse understands the clear instructions😉 Overall this is a rubber crop with bumps up and down the rubber. It arrives folded over so takes alot of effort and time trying to straighten it out. The handle is a fairly hard slippery plastic and 5 of the 20 inches. It has a hole to add your own loop hanger. Overall it is a good level of flexible and stiff.

This product is clearly designed for "horses" of the 2 legged variety.... And it's pretty evil.It comes packaged in a plastic bag that's too small for it, so instead of being stored and shipped "straight" the rubber part is curved and seems to have taken a set in that position, it has relaxed a little after a couple of days of being hung by the tip but it's a bit of a shame that this wasn't considered as it would be a far more effective toy if it wasn't pre-curved.The handle is smooth plastic and there is a hole for adding the hanging loop of your choice (not included) if desired. A bit of twine works well for me. It is ribbed / ridged so despite being smooth it's actually pretty easy to hold and control. The working bit certainly does seem to be rubber which tapers from the handle to the tip and is "equipped" with little bumps molded onto it. It almost has a tentacle quality to it. As a light sensation, drag across skin toy it's pretty darn good actually.And. Umm. Yeah. Used with intent as an impact item it's pure evil.
