This item does not fit a 2-inch railing post. it is slightly undersized. So I will have to figure out how to adapt it to fit. otherwise, it is nicely made and will look great once I have it mounted.

Although the rail posts come with a low profile cap, this end cap creates the perfect finishing flourish. Well made, simple to install, compared to in store pricing, good value . Highly recommend
