I do a lot of work on peoples boat docks on the lake that I live on. I'm not easily impressed when it comes to the hardware I need. This pulley I was a bit concerned about because of the low price. After receiving it I have to say I should have never been concerned. This has to be the absolutely best price on a high quality, durable pulley I've ever seen. I am very impressed. This thing is the Lamborghini of pulleys in my opinion. I will be buying many more of these!

Although this product was designed for off road vehicle recovery, I have found other uses. First, I've used it to assist in removing and replacing a 50 gal water heater in my attic. Second use, straightening a palm tree leaning from wind damage. third use, lifting multiple boxes to store in the attic. Great product and well constructed.

Just got it today. Arrived on time. Haven't gotten to use it just yet but I am very happy with the quality and I am confident that it will last for years. The unit has a fitting to lube the pulley, safety clip can be removed/reinstalled if needed. There is even a spring clip to make sure the bolt stays in place for the hook/snatch block.This swivel hook snatch block is a LOT nicer than the one I got for a little lower price. This one is so much nicer that I will probably never use the cheaper one.The one I got was slightly different than the picture as the whole unit is blue instead of the hook being red.
