I ordered this set of drain seals for a persistent leak in a bathroom sink, which wouldn't seem to seal no matter how much care and effort I spent trying to get the old (seemingly fine) rubber gaskets seated. This set comes with two complete pairs of silicone seals, which is a nice touch (giving me a spare for the other identical sink, should it ever fail). I do have to add that the drain hardware (the threaded tube) was actually 40mm, so these parts were "very tight". I had no trouble stretching the thin (upper) seal over the tube. It didn't quite extend to the edge of the chrome flare, so the gasket itself won't quite be visible from above (not really a feature, or a problem - just an observation).Getting the lower sealing ring on was a bit more of a challenge because of the 3mm bigger diameter, and due to the VERY thick construction of the ring. It's much, much thicker than the thin rubber lower seal that came with my sink, but that is going to be a feature, not a problem. I stretched the ring by pulling vigorously on it (proving it's very strong), and lubing the threads of the drain with a bit of shampoo. It was still a little bit of a struggle to force the ring up the threads, but it went up, tightened up properly with a bit of care, and - best of all - sealed totally and entirely. No more leaks!Because of the silicone construction, I expect this sink will be leak-free for longer than it matters. I'm quite impressed that I was able to do this for such a low cost (especially when I consider that I have another set for another sink "in stock" now).So two thumbs up, though I'd recommend actually measuring the outside diameter of the threaded pipe that extends down from your drain to make sure you order the right size.

At this price you can afford to have a bunch of these around. They are ideal replacements for the rubber gaskets that usually come with sink drain kits, because these are silicone and won't crack or degrade like rubber. They are soft, so you can feel them compress and you know you have a seal. Top notch quality at an excellent price.
