I ordered an outdoor solar shade nearly a month ago and love it. It came with a valance and the cloth is far from cheap looking. The only concern I had was that it came with only 3 hanging clips that didn't really give me a ton of confidence in terms of feeling secure. I felt like only 3 made it feel as if the shade could fall off where it was mounted, so I spent a decent amount of time attempting to find additional mounting clips that work for it thinking 1 or 2 more would be reassuring that it wasn't going anywhere. Turns out I could not find any extra clips anywhere. There was no helpful info on the sellers page or store, and after multiple Amazon searches all worded differently, nothing. I figured I might have to accept only 3 mounting clips or try others that didn't look similar and hope they somehow manage to work. Then I came across these which look identical to the original clips that came with the shade.. aside from being a different color. I ordered them feeling confident they would work perfectly with the shade, and they did. I can confirm that the 8ft by 8ft Arkost solar shade I have is now more secure with these additional clips now installed. They worked exactly the same and are exact size as original clips. Whether you need them to replace a broken clip or merely want to feel confident in knowing your Arkost solar shade is secured well to your mounting location, these are the answer. I would imagine these clips work for other similar style solar shades that include the valance which is the surface the clips attach to, but since I can only confirm they work on the Arkost brand.. I can't really guarantee they work on any other brand. I'd just recommend that if trying on a different brand, if the clips your shade came with look identical to these as shown in the images in the listing, then you might want to at least give them a try. For only $12.99 it really isn't a bad deal to at least try the clips on whatever brand you have, or if you are in need for Arkost brand clips, these are the ones you need. All the screws and drywall anchors the originals came with are included with these as well (2 mounting clips, 4 screws, 4 drywall anchors).
