Forget this product and the tool it rode in on!!!This is the worst experience ever! I thought some people where just being petty. But after working at this for 8 HOURS! MY rims are beat, my hands are beat, and i now dislike electric scooters! Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money are the brand name tires.

have a gotrax scooter and got a hole in a tube so decided to just switch both over to solid tires. I microwaved for a total of 3 mins. In one minute increments checking that the tire wasn't getting too hot each time. I worked a side on as you would a normal tire and as I was looking at it I decided to use the holes around the tire. I have lady slipper bars that fit in the holes perfectly. With the combination of tire spoons and using the holes in the tires to get more leverage with the bars it was done in about 5 mins for both. I do have a lot of car tire experience but I think using the holes to gain extra leverage was the key for me. Just find a bar that is small enough to go all the way through the hole but large enough you can really stretch the tire out. Would buy again, the red looks great.

Value for money much easy installation if in microwave for 5min or less with the help of scooter pry bar tools.

No more putting air in them tires.These tires are great,perfect and durable. Plus great value for the price. A little bit challenging to put on but it goes on with a little Strength.

These were a bit hard to install, but after watching a couple videos I finally succeeded. The ride is a bit rough, but that's only because the tires are solid rubber and not filled with air. Never have to worry about a flat tire again.

I had to use a silicone lube, strength, and some enginuity to get these on the rim. I'm an experienced bike mechanic and wheel builder and this was a 10 out of 10 in terms of difficulty. There's no way you're going to get this tire on with tire levers. There's just not enough stretch in the tire. Here's how i did it.1. Get one edge seated in the rim and step on that section with the wheel flat against a hard surface. Let's call that 6 o'clock.2. Stick one screwdriver in the hole at approximately 10 o'clock and another 2 o'clock, then pull then outward, creating a gap large enough to slip the wheel onto the rim.3. Use your free foot, knee, or wife to push the tire onto the rim fully. It may not seat properly but with some twisting and tugging using a screwdriver in holes, you should be able to get it fully seated.That said, these wheels are faster even though they are noticably heavier. I attribute that to lower rolling resistance from a more domed profile than the stop pneumatic tires with my. Less of the tire makes contact with the road, basically.There is a slight shimmy and oscillating sound coming from the tires which i attribute to the tire/wheel not being balanced. It's not as important with pneumatic tires because they are lighter and have more "give" to dampen the vibrations. Because these tires are heavy and stiff, you'll notice more imperfections in the weight distribution of the tire/wheel assembly.Overall, though, i love these tires. They feel bomb-proof and i can cruise over gaps between sidewalk slabs heaved crooked by oak tree roots with confidence. They also have nominally more tread which i noticed going through grass. It seems to have a more positive grip.
