I recently came across a bunch of old cassette tapes; music, old radio shows, etc. They were stored in shoe boxes. Since I wanted to through them, I thought I’d like to keep them in a more permanent storage box. These boxes are made of fabric and come folded flat. You unfold them and place the harder fabric bottom in to get them into shape. The divider down the middle is also fabric so it looks like it won’t provide a solid platform for the tapes. Once you put the tapes in however, it does provide better strength. The top seals with a Velcro latch. They hold 48 cassettes in cases but I got over 60 in without cases so it will work if you’ve got a bunch of loose cassettes. Overall, I’m happy with these boxes as they do what I need them to do.

This could be a 5 star product if you don’t mind some minor flaws. First the stitches on both could be better. Also why have two different size Velcro pieces? Having the smaller piece really doesn’t help keeping it closed as a larger piece would.The good part about this is that you can really put a lot of CD’S in the case. Now I know that I am showing my age having a CD collection, but I also have a vinyl collection and have the means to play both. You really need to fill up the cases otherwise they will flop around. You can always use styrofoam or paper to fill up the space. Now I have a better way to store my CD’S instead of a drawer.

Overall this was easy to set up, and is a great and simply way to store a lot of cassette tapes in a minimal amount of space. The tapes fit comfortably in the lanes, and it should both move and store easily when it is filled. The color is mild, and should fit in in any location. It does what I need it to.I will note that this box is one that works best when it is full, and thus for people who already have a sizable cassette collection. The tapes are prone to sliding into empty space when empty space is available, and the tapes help give additional structural integrity to the box itself. It still works when partially filled, as the box's sides are firm, but you need to be more aware of not jostling it too much.I'm slightly disappointed the lid doesn't close as securely as I'd hoped, the velcro doesn't feel that grippy, and the lid tends to "tent" over the box. Hopefully it will close more neatly when full of tapes, but I think the lid may simply be too big. Also, I noticed a small stitching error at the top of one of the boxes, which will trim away easily, but it does leave a poor initial impression. That said, I haven't seen any other issues, and I think it will hold up well if handled gently.

This cassette storage box set works great at keeping my cassettes protected from dust and dirt getting in them. The storage cases are easy to put together from their collapsed position. Once put together it was easy to store all of my cassettes in them. The storage cases are very strong and hold up to the weight of all the cassettes being in them.

We had a whole box of old cassette tapes lying around that we don't know what to do with, fed up with the scruffy box I decided to order this nice storage box. It looks so much neater and the cassettes fit perfectly inside! This makes for nice, safe storage (until we decide what to do with them!)

What a sigh of relief that I found these! My husband has a massive collection of old tapes that he won't get rid of - he stores them all over the garage in cardboard boxes that are falling apart. I finally got sick of it and took it upon myself to order a some of these tape storage boxes. I am so glad I did! They are much more protective (especially from dust) than cardboard boxes. They stack very easily and they just look so much better properly stored on a shelf. Now that I know how great they work/look, I will be ordering some more to fit the rest of his collection.

I like the size and capacity of these cassette organizers. They've allowed me to completely eliminate the unsightly and overfull cardboard boxes I had been using for cassette tape storage. I also like that they have handles on both ends and that the lids help to make them easy to stack. I don't like the fabric very much, but they aren't stored anywhere I'll be looking at them much, so that's not a big deal.I also dislike the design of the lids. There's a fold down the middle so the organizers can collapse for shipping. That wouldn't be too bad except that the lids are also wider than necessary. Without something else sitting on top, the lids pop up like tents. Also, there's just one piece of hook-and-loop in the middle of the flap to secure the lid. It does the job, but it feels like the absolute bare minimum and doesn't inspire confidence.
