I loved it for about 9 months but the plastic sheathing around the cable is cracking and peeling off. This causes the cable to get stuck at times and prevents it from pulling all the way up by about 6 inches. It's still useable and the retraction strength is still as strong as day one. Unfortunately it's only problem is a big one for me.

These feel nice and sturdy. I have already accidentally caught them in my car as I was getting out and it didn't rip the line out of the piece.

Really good so far. I got this because all of the ones I got before sucked. I have had it for 2 weeks now and it is the most solid one I have used so far. Metal wire is a good touch. I would imagine it's for durability and security. I use it 6 days a week so I will update this if something goes wrong in an unreasonable amount of time but it probably will do just fine.

3 YEARS Later......it's still working perfectly! I wear this daily at work, and the rest of the time, it's attached to my car keys, and it is STILL working great! The retraction is still as good as on day 1!

strong spring, strong cable. snaps back quickly....could be problem if on collars. casing is a little gimmicky, lightweight may break over time.
