I loved these grow lights for their small size and effective lighting. Great for small targeted areas where some additional light is needed. The one consistent problem is that these bulbs die (for whatever reason) very quickly. This is especially so since I was only using the light for about 4 hours per day. I hope they can redesign the product so consumers can enjoy a more reasonable lifespan.2.1.24 UPDATE: I repurchased these same lights and the design has been totally changed. The bulb casing is larger but the LED density (the configuration of little light emitting circles) has been significantly reduced. The purple light itself has been reduced and blue light now increased. It seems less light is now being emitted and what light there is appears to be next to useless. I can only assume the design change was made to extend the life of the bulb. Sadly, this is now no longer an effective grow light in any meaningful way other than perhaps placing a micro-sized plant to sit right under it. I won’t be repurchasing.
