Perfect length and firmness to comfortably and securely keep children from rolling off the bed. Easy enough to fit under sheet without sliding. Effective to use on any size bed, toddler + up! Came tightly compressed but opened to its full size quickly. No significant odor other than the general smell of the plastic overwrap. Cover is soft.

As a Registered Nurse, I see and use a lot of devices for all kinds of patients. I've seen very small versions of this style, for props for limbs. This was exactly what was needed so my grandson's parents would feel comfortable transitioning their 2 1/2 year old out of the crib to a lower twin bed. It has a washable cover, and surprisingly doesn't get dirty, since its' purchase in December. This Bed/rail bumper provides a soft option to keep toddler in bed without rolling out onto the floor. It hasn't happened one time. Mom is pregnant and I didn't want her to be injured by an awkward rail sticking up, frequently used on toddler beds. I didn't want a wooden rail to scare him either. The length and height is absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend it to others and buy it again if needed. This would make a great gift too. It comes easy to wrap!

This bed bumper pillow works so well! It's amazing quality, squishy like memory foam, and affordable. It's the perfect size for my son's crib! I converted his crib to a toddler bed and put this pillow under the sheet to keep it from being pushed around everywhere. If you're thinking about purchasing this, do it! I promise you won't regret it.

As long as your pup isn't a flopper when they sleep and is reasonably small (10-15lbs), this should be a simple and cheap addition to your bed making routine.

I used this foam bed bumper for our queen-size bed in the RV while traveling with my toddler. Let me tell you, it worked wonders. No crib? No problem. This bumper stopped our tiny human tornado from rolling across the bed like a pint-sized daredevil. What I Loved:The size is spot-on, perfect for keeping little ones safe without turning your bed into a fortress. The cover is delightfully soft and machine washable, because, let’s face it, life with a toddler equals inevitable messes. The foam is firm but comfy, balancing safety with snooze-approved coziness.Minor Note: The zipper is simple to open for washing, but now I need to buy two more to fully cover the bed (not a bad problem to have, really). If you’re parenting on the go, I highly recommend this. It’s saved me stress and bruises from toddler acrobatics.

I had been using diy ways to create a bumper for my toddler as most bed rails don't work with the type of bedframe she has. It was a huge pain and the rolled pillows and pool noodles always slide around when you change the bedding. This bumper is thick and soft and just tall enough to keep her in bed at night without blocking her from being able to climb in by herself. The ribbon included could be better. It's very thin craft ribbon and I just know the mattress will have a crease in it when I remove them because I had to pull it so tight, and it's still not a snug fit to the bed. The grip on the bottom works pretty well to keep it in place for the most part, I haven't had any struggle changing her bedding. To help it inflate faster, I used a blow dryer along the edges until the liner was pulled snug around the entire pillow. Great product for the price, my little one can sleep safely and comfortably in her bed now.

My 2 and a half year old is still in the bed with me— or she’ll be able to be now.I live in a small two bedroom apartment with a toddler and a six year old who is at the stage of development where she really values her privacy. For that reason, I keep the youngest in my bedroom, but her crib takes up so much space that it’s difficult to move around in there some days, and she ends up in bed with me most mornings anyway. My bed is pushed up against a wall, and I’ve found this paired with a bed rail on the opposite site to be a dream in terms of security and feeling like the child is safe if I have to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom without concern of her falling out. It’s easy to install, you just put it snugly beneath your fitted sheet. There are grommets and ribbon included for the sake of securing further but I didn’t have to use those.

I'm always surprised when I order foam articles, like pillows of bumpers. They come in a tiny package (see pic) and grow exponentially when you "release the beast"! (2nd pic).I think this would be better marketed as a head-of-bed bumper / gap filler (3rd pic). We have a 4 inch wide gap at the head of our bed into which my neck roll and headphones fall after I put them up in the middle of the night. This half-round 5 inch wide cloth-covered foam bumper was meant to be placed under the fitted sheet and the edge of a mattress to attempt to prevent a person or youngster from rolling out of the bed at night. But it doesn't stay in place very well -- it even comes with a roll of 1/2" wide nylon ribbon which the directions direct you to tie the ends from moving against your bed posts.A lot of children's beds do not have corner posts, so this would not work. In addition, unless you tied this "bumper rail" across the bed to opposite posts, it wouldn't hold very securely. So if you are looking for a retaining rail, probably the raised metal tube types that go under the mattress from the side would work more securely. This pad works great to fill the gap at the top of your bed.
