Was able to get where the typical "slim" drain snakes couldn't. Had to twist while snaking so I could come up with the hairball that was a couple feet past my overflow drain entry.

These worked great when cleaning the tubes of our ice maker. I’ve been searching for a tool to do this job for awhile and these work perfect. They clean nicely after using too. I love the fact that they are made to be reusable!

Product fits perfectly inside the front left and right Sunroof drains of a 2003 infiniti FX45 but it is not long enough to go all the way down from the sunroom to the end of the water Tubing. It is about 6+ inches too short. If it was at least 72 inches it would have been perfect and gone past the Sunroof tubing down the the end of the floor tubing. So I had to go in from the top of the sunroof and then from the bottom tubing on both sides of left and right kicker panels. Otherwise it will worked and do its job as intended full length . So for being 1 foot short I gave it 4 Stars, Make it 72 inches or longer and it will unclog the whole line from roof to bottom flooring.

I bought this for cleaning out the small draining hose that removes condensation from my cars air conditioner. It does the job removing mildew, and gunk that builds up over time. Which means better function, colder air, and less work for the compressor. Whether that improves gas mileage is theoretically possible I guess I really can't say but the air con definitely works better. I have to put the car on a jack to access the drain hose but that is no biggie. While I have not tried this on a room air conditioner I see no reason why it wouldn't work on that as well.

Got these to clean my tubes... GE Opal Ice Tubes. Worked like a charm. A bit hard to pull out... A hard yank worked like a charm. The guck came.. out immediately.

Very good quality and value considering you get two and how many different places you can find to clean with them. These should last for years if taken care of as they are not made of cheap material. I use them to clean weep holes on my vehicles which most people never think about cleaning. It makes the task super easy and cleans areas that would otherwise be impossible. They are flexible enough to reach any area and long enough to get it it done.

We have a GE Opal ice maker/ice machine. It requires maintenance about once a month. I noticed that the intake waterline had some buildup material during one of my past cleaning routines and decided to look for a solution. These brushes work great. They are almost too big, because they resist pulling out a little. The bristles get turned at an angle in one direction as you insert the brush head into the tubing and they don't want to go in reverse at first. But if you twist, they will rotate around and you can pull it back out.The build up has been removed. The waterline is clean. I have used these on two cleaning cycles now.
