Forged Pipe A105 - 45D Elbow NPT Thread 3000#
45-degree elbow forged pipe fitting is made in accordance with ASME B16.11, MSS-SP-79\83\95\97, and BS3799 standards. Fittings made through the forging process are commonly used in high pressure and corrosive conditions as they have a thicker wall compared to the usual pipe fittings. It is a connector between pipe to change the fluid flow direction at 45-degree angle.
- Utilized in the installation of nominal bore pipes that necessitate a change in fluid flow angle of 45°.
- Made from carbon steel A105.
- Pressure rating up to 3000 PSI.
- Commonly applied in heavy industries with high pressure.
To install the elbow fitting, kindly refer to the steps below;
- Clean the 45-degree elbow fitting thoroughly to remove any dirt, grease, or contaminants. Make sure that the pipe end and the interior of the fitting are clean and free from debris.
- Ensure that the threads of the 45-degree elbow fitting engage properly with the male threads of the pipes.
- Properly position the fitting to align with the system requirements and hand-tighten the fitting initially, and then use a wrench to tighten it
- Check for any signs of leaks or irregularities.
