TIPS for ASSEMBLY: Please assemble the fan mesh and put it in the box, and install the fan outside the box, so that there is no gap at the fan. If the net is placed outside, there is a gap between the fan and the board interface, which will lead to ash running.

Was super excited to put this together and start using it but the fan does not turn on at all. Tried getting a replacement fan but I couldn't get in touch with the seller.

It was easy to put together. I sand my creations/art indoors and this box does what I need it to do, keep my home from being full of dust from sanding.

What a pleasure it is to work on heavy dust generating items like this Tagua nut without the need for a face mask, shield or shop-vac, which did a dismal job of controlling the dust. The fan has plenty of pull, even when the work is a foot away from the fan and only inches from the front window and my aging eyes. Not a speck of dust escapes into the room…fantastic for my health and that of my pet. I can even ditch the face mask….. it’s that effective.The seller was wonderful in responding to a query I had in super fast fashion. I highly recommend this dust hood.

I don't know who gave this a one star, but this is excellent. It works extremely well, easy to put together, light weight so you can move it around easier. Not too big, not too small, and it works perfectly for keeping dust and debris out of your workspace. With a couple of minor adjustments, you can also make this helpful for keeping fumes from other products from entering into your workspace. Simply change out the bag for a PVC pipe that blows through a ventilation opening. This is a MUST if you work on small projects with airborne particulates!
