These were perfect for my husband's TV ears! My husband is deaf from one ear and has very little hearing from the other. He would have the tv blasting so he could hear, bought him TV ears but needed a 3way splitter to hook up and this cable worked great! Hooked them to my sound bar and his TV ears with such ease. This a great product, great value. The cord is a perfect length too! I highly recommend this if you need to split audio digital. You won't be disappointed! I know I'm not! Thank you seller and amazon I can watch TV with my hubby without my hearing blown away!

I wanted to hook up my soundbar to the living room tv. When we did, my husband couldn't connect his rechargeable headphones. Oh no! This is the perfect solution. We got the 3 ft so there was some slack and it wasn't going to be pulled really tight. It was plug & play. No rocket science to install. The price is right and we are very happy with it. I don't know why people are complaining about wires splitting? The sound is just as good as when his headphones were the only things plugged in. I would but these audio splitters again.

This product literally fell apart. The cables slid out of the plug.

Plugged into my TV & AV receiver and it is working well. I have not yet tried the extra optical plug, as I wanted to include it for future expansion needs. The insulating layer is fairly thin which gives the cords a lower profile if that’s what you’re looking for as well. If you prefer “big beefy” cables, this won’t be for you (though in optical cables, I believe thicker insulation is almost pointless).

Hooked it up to a spdif outputting sound card, and connected the outputs to a DAC and a remote headphone system, both with spdif inputs of course. No issues whatsoever!

This was the solution to making my hearing aid transmitter work with the optical cable already running to the soundbar. The cable from the TV was split into the soundbar and the hearing aid. You'll probably need Optical Coupler Digital Audio Fiber Optic Female Extension Adapters to connect the tv cable to the splitter, and I needed a second for the hearing aid transmitter. (Push really hard to connect the two cables when using the extension adapters. There's no apparent loss (at least a guy with hearing aids can tell) and it was easy to install.
