Works well. I have three garage doors and it helps. They are slightly quirky but does the job. Once u get use to them its ok. I find push the button for a second and then wait. Sometimes i push the button too soon after the first push and it stops the door. The battery life im unsure about as it still works fine from the pirchase date. I would suggest only buying Energizer or walgreen batteries as some others are not powerful enough and or leak.Pairing the controller to the doors was easy once I looked into my particular opener and looked at the instructions for the opener. I found the instructions that came with the controler did not help much with my unit, however it may on some units. All I did was push a button on the opener for 3 seconds and when a LED illuminated, i pushed the button i wanted to control the door on the remote. That was it. the first one took 20 min but one learning the procedure the others took seconds.I would purchase these again if needed.Not being familier with garage door openers I made this harder than it otherwise would have been. Again the instruction for your opener are probably going to be the key to success.

the instructions that came with thos remote do not match and therefore we can not figure out how to connect.the remote. when I tried online, the instructions do not work either because they do not match up. instructions say one thing but what it's asking is not possible.

The directions were worthless - didn’t even have the right pictures for the item I purchased so don’t bother.Went right on Youtube for my garage opener model and bam- easy instructions. Re-programmed both openers in 5 minutes- trial n error but we did it!Work great and it was a great value since we needed to replace two openers.
