My son is playing bugle for Scouts and is having trouble hitting the high G. His instructor thinks his standard trumpet mouthpiece is the culprit because it's too long for the horn he plays on. When I saw the Whamvox mouthpiece came in at nearly 3/4" shorter than what he has, it was an instant buy. They show overall measurements, but not the lead pipe bore measurement. Major disappointment when we received the mouthpiece and it was only 9mm! So it definitely didn't fit as a bugle trumpet replacement.
