This machine does a good job of scoring paper. I've only used 100# cover stock so I don't know how well it works on lighter paper, but the 100# cover works well. The score is deep enough to eliminate any cracking once the card is folded. My only complaint is the machine I received came with two guides that attach to the rails along the front edge with a thumb screw. They are tricky to position and they don't sit tightly on the surface which allows the paper to slip underneath. I would have preferred the magnetic stops that were shown in the photo. I solved the problem by using a 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 sheet of magnetic material on each side. This method made it very easy to make sure the printed piece was properly aligned.

I need to return this. We are not getting sufficient indentation to make creases and paper is getting destroyed, ink breaking, because it was not creases suffiiciently.

I use this to crease heavy-weight cover papers for books that I make and this machine is perfect.

This is used in our small print shop. It seems to be mostly metal and feels sturdy/durable. We have used it for several medium sized jobs (1000-1250 pieces each). Has worked well. Only two knocks on it so far. The ruler is glued on top of the creasing surface, which causes the paper to catch on it when you slide it on. The other knock, not the strongest magnets. We happen to have a couple of more powerful magnets laying around that we use to keep our paper position.Overall, I do recommend this for smaller jobs or beginners.

Shipping was fast! But, the machine I received appeared to have been used before. Detailed instructions with pictures on how to adjust the pressure would have been nice. I am using this machine to crease cardstock and 80lb paper. I can only crease 1 sheet at a time but, it is still way better than manual scoring. The creases are clean and the attachment rulers on mine are accurate.
