I selected this chain because I am a stained glass hobbyist. I use the chain to hang panels, and the average craft store does not sell a chain that’s this heavy duty. I think the average stained glass crafter makes smaller suncatchers, etc. I make a lot of larger panels that require hardwood framing. When you get that much lead and solder together on a panel along with hardwood, there is quite a bit of weight behind that. Certainly you need a chain that you can attach that will absolutely secure the panel without the chance of it breaking. This chain seems very sturdy and heavy duty. I use a hacksaw to cut it to size.

This is your basic chain for a bunch of different uses. It seems well made and strong.

It is a 1/8" chain...just as the description says. The other reviewer was misled by the child on a swing picture, but if you look at the picture where it shows the thickness in mm you clearly see that it is a small chain...OR read what it is "useful for" it says things like flower basket, wind chime, artwork, etc...which it is perfect for.

Wow! Why have a child on a swing with large links in the chain. You also clain it is Heavy Duty! Looks more like a necklace chain. Completely deceiving. That photo should be removed from the photo gallery
