This is a great security mirror. If you need to be able to see what is going on in a certain corner of your store or even your home this is great.It is not real large but it will show you a lot. It is very light weight and it is easy to hang. It is not glass so it will not break.There is a protective film over the mirror so make sure you take that off before use.This can be hung and used anywhere. If you need extra security this is a must have, and for the price you cant go wrong.

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.I needed a convex mirror for my driveway since I have a curved driveway on a hill making it impossible to see clearly around the corner as I back into the driveway. I ordered this one since it showed up in my vine feed and looked to be what I needed. From a practical sense, it is exactly what I needed. Its functional, includes all the mounting hardware and is very light weight. The frame and mirror are plastic. The mirror is screwed in and made out of a rather flexible plastic. There are a few rough edges from the plastic molding on the frame, but otherwise its totally useable and should be reasonably shatterproof since none of it is glass. I would prefer a glass mirror but given the weight savings and the price, this seems like a very good alternative.

I do wish it had included some better installation poles and various brackets and stuff. However it is possible to just glue it in place on a homemade pole. I wouldn't call installation easy but it is rather flexible.I bought it because my driveway has a bit of a blind hill going down and with so many delivery trucks and kids out it was a good idea to install so both pedestrians and see cars coming and vice versa.I do wish it wasn't red, the thing isn't very pretty. But I do think it will hold up pretty well to cold wind and rain now that it is installed.

So, this is a very large mirror which is great and we need one to be able to back-up safely from our driveway into a busy road.The problem is that the only provided bracket requires the mirror to be secured to a round metallic pole like you will find in Europe but here, we have squared street signs (and you are not allowed to hang anything from them) nor can we just install a metallic pole as it will defeat the cost.So while we were hoping for a choice of brackets (pole or flat surface), it was not to be. So now, we have this gigantic mirror which can't be put up anywhere in our configuration.Disappointed.
