Used this for handling charcoal and firewood during camping and it pretty much did a great job. The build quality is pretty good, item is quite sturdy and can easily lift even large flaming firewood during camping.

I really like how the double articulation is arrange so my grasp is the same as the distance the jaws move. I find them very intuitive in moving hot and cold coals around my grill, as well as anything else that might be hot or messy.I consider these tongs as necessary to grilling over charcoal as a charcoal chimney.

Works well if you have giant hands only, handle not easy to manage.Tongs have sharp edge that when picking up meat on grill it makes holes in order to pick up. Solid tool, not good handle size or meat end.

I use these when teaching students how to make char-cloth and charcoal. They are excellent for moving the tins in and out of the fire. These aluminum tongs are very light weight and perfect for using in and around campfires and don’t take up much room in your pack.
