Product Description

2

Elvone peel and stick trims are generally used in corners, cabinets, table edges, photo frames, mirror frames and other places.

The decorative strip is relatively small and is not suitable for big decorations.

The trim is flexible and can be used as a DIY in various shapes on the monotonous background wall to show your style.

What to do in cold weather

Glue becomes less sticky in cold weather, so we need to heat it with a hairdryer to restore its original stickiness, so that it can be better installed and not easy to fall off.

It is more beautiful to surround the mirror and can cover the ugly cracks.

The adhesive is so sticky that even after using a blow dryer on high for several minutes I still ended up taking off paint and a little bit of drywall. I'm not even mad because that means I'm never going to have to worry about it falling off (once I re-measure)

As a DIYer I am always looking for ways to do things economically and simply. This fits both. All you need is a measuring tape and a scissors. I have used this trim in multiple places and it sticks very well. At first I was afraid that it would pop off because it would want to stay coiled. But this was not the case. I was careful to get it right the first time however because I was afraid any adjusting may weaken the bond. I cannot be sure but I always recommend taking your time and getting it right the first time.I have used this trim to create fake grills on my window. To add dimension to an old picture frame. To add height to my old floor trim. And to hide a gap in my bead-board paneling.

I have been going through an egregious total remodel of the pocket my stack on washer dryer fits into. The old one gave up the ghost. While having that one out, before installing the new one I went through all of the stages to do the walls, new plumbing etc. I like to say "The last 10% makes 90% of the difference." The annoying thing is the way the tile met the wall. Your eyes were immediately drawn to it. This peel and stick trim is just what the doctor ordered. The instructions tell you to not put it on a brick wall, broken putty wall, concrete wall, or a wet surface. Well, of course. Anyhow, the way to apply it, they give you instructions for adhering it to the wall, but in my case, I placed it on the tile floor. Step one is to roll it out in a straight line to remove the curve from being rolled up in a ball. Then clean the surface so it is dust free. In my case I sprayed some 99% rubbing alcohol on a paper towel, and wiped the surface down. If the surface temp is less than 68 degrees heat it up with a hair dryer, or heat gun. Apply it to the "wall" being sure to press it down thoroughly, and then don't disturb for 24 hours while the adhesive back sets up. It is also removable using a hair dryer etc.In my case, yes, I placed it on the floor, and then followed up with standard bright white caulk. It turned out great. See the two photos with the first one being the before shot, and the second one being that after. Even though it is a rounded top instead of a squared off side on one side, and rounded in the "front" it served the dual purpose thanks to the caulk. Just apply caulk, and wipe it off for an even finish except for the seam. Highly recommended.

I ordered this a couple of weeks ago and needed more. This is not as thick or wide as previous order which sucks because now it doesn’t match the project I have started.

This stuff worked well for what it is - I have zero complaints about the functionality of the product, I just wasn't a fan of the tone of gold, I thought the color was just a little off putting compared to some of the other gold trim I've gotten. It's the same color of gold that you would get on a "gold ring" that comes out of one of those coin operated candy machines - in the right setting it would pop, but for me, I would have liked a paler color. Otherwise, it was fine.

I am remodeling a tiny vintage trailer. I used this flexible molding at the top of this wood wall paneling. I like that it matches the existing half round strips on the ceiling. it was easy to work with and it easily covers over the imperfections underneath some of which are nails that I was unable to remove. It is working perfectly so far. I would recommend this product to my friends.
