Not only does this cable not actually work with the PSP-1000 (as listed in the product title and description), the build quality feels like it is about to fall apart just from handling it.There's a piece of plastic next to the pins that prevents it from slotting into the PSP-1000 completely. The cable was only $8 so I wasn't opposed to shaving that off to get it slotted in. After removing the unnecessary plastic (without damaging the pins or cable) I discovered that the cable doesn't even send video.Save your money and shop elsewhere for a quality alternative.
