  1. Inspection and Replacement of VTEC Solenoid Valve
  • After removing the VTEC solenoid valve assembly, check the solenoid valve filter. If the filter is blocked, replace the filter cleaner and the sealing gasket of the engine lubricating solenoid valve. Once removed, the new parts must be replaced. Remove the V Ⅵ EC solenoid valve, check whether the valve moves freely with fingers, and replace the solenoid valve if there is jamming.

Initially I bought because the gasket was leaking. It arrived with a leaky gasket so I ordered another. As soon as I installed it, it threw a code. After getting a Honda part to replace it, the problem was fixed. Unfortunately, I missed the return window on this.
