These are easy to hold , work well as far as mixing / scraping sides of bowl ect. , I didn't notice any defects I bought one for myself & two as gifts , a nice add on to my other kitchen accessories .

Every bit as handy as predicted, price was right, arrived quickly.Edit Dec, 2023. Have begun throwing away some of my other cooking utensils. I use these for mixing & stirring as well as cooking. Best feature is the rounded end & corners. I oiled them before use. Wash them without worrying about wood & water. If I think about it, rub a little more oil on them occasionally.

Received them quickly. Quality was good. Nice looking until the dishwasher. They came out looking 100 years old. I didn't see where it said hand wash only. I still use them but, they look like old gray wood. It didn't affect the use of them but, will probably stain.
