Used the black only for a birthday theme party, super easy to use just wet the brush and dip it in the paint. It's pigmented especially if you go over it twice. It washes right off! I did have makeup underneath so not sure if my skin was sensitive to it or not

I have had to edit my review. I used 2 colors to try out. Then realized in the bathroom bright light-6 colors had indentations of wet and being used! Some one tried this our then returned it. This is an issue separate from the item its self. this is like a water color paint. not think like oil paint. I am re ordering another one after I return this. it is a small kit. fine for the price.

*We haven't actually tried the paint out so I can update once we do.I guess I should have read the dimensions, but when looking through the pictures on Amazon, it made it seem like this was a medium sized pallet. I was disappointed when I opened the package and the box fits in my hand. My kids love doing face painting and they are going to go through this paint very quickly. It was priced pretty low, so I guess you get what you pay for.

My son and I have very sensitive skin, and NO reactions at all to this brand. I was so excited to see how vivid and opaque the colors were when I tested them. And even more excited to see that even when I left the test stroke on my arm over 24hrs there was not even a hint of an allergic reaction. In contrast, my friend used a different product on my sons forehead, (it was only on for an afternoon), and he quickly a rash in the exact shape of the little bird, and the rash lasted over a week.

Good enough to have some fun with the kids, but it didnโt wash off easy. The red color really stuck even after several washes.

Water activated. One stroke is all you need for most colors. The shimmery colors are slightly more transparent. For the price point these work very well. Would recommend.
