Anyone who uses pneumatic tools needs to have a water/oil separator to protect their tools from unwanted moisture from the compressor going inside the tools. For years I have not used a filter with mostly an old finish nailer (now retired for a new model). Last year I set up my big compressor to have a nice little regulator manifold on the front handle for when I’m using tools that need to be filtered and have a lower pressure than the fully open pressure I like to have to the air hose for air blowing. This regulator/filter I set up with a male and female connectors for in/out connection directly to a small pancake compressor. I simply just plug the regulator into the compressor output connector, then the air hose to the output of the regulator. Then adjust the regulator for the desired tool PSI and I’m good to go. Tools are protected from any condensation/moisture that comes from the compressor, and it adds a separate regulator for dialing in tool operational pressure.A must have tool to keep moisture out of your prized pneumatic tools!

Small and works

Since using this, I have noticed no moisture coming out of my air hose. I use an oil-free compressor, so there are no major concerns from me on oil getting into the air lines, but the moisture was absolutely getting through the lines. Not anymore! The regulator works, and as far as I can tell it is accurate enough. My compressor has a built in regulator that would be a pain to bypass, so this just runs in-line with that. When I say this regulator is "accurate enough," I mean that it more or less agrees with my built in regulator. This is an inexpensive way to add a little extra protection/piece of mind for your air tools and I recommend this.

Bought this to replace an old Grizzly Tool unit that the poly bowl just disintegrated. Much smaller than the Grizzly unit, which is nice. Otherwise works as it should. No issues.

I haven't had any issues with this - it does what its supposed to and is easy to use.The two stages seem to capture most of the debris in my air system and give me a well filtered line -This may not catch all the moisture, depending on conditions, but sure helpsNo Complaints

I got this to filter and dry air feeding into my plasma cutter. The price is quite attractive and the two stage filtering has pretty good specs. I mounted this onto my plasma cutter cart and use it inline with air incoming from the compressor then on to a secondary air tank prior to going into another water separator mounted on the plasma cutter. No issues mounting it or with using it. Sealed up on charging it with air -- no leaks. I checked the pressure gauge against two others inline and it was spot on. Check the port pipe size when ordering -- standard homeowner air hose fittings are 1/4 inch NPT. I used reducers for the 3/8 NPT ports that this came with which works fine. Note that instructions are for a few different models so you have to find your model in the instructions.

Looks to be a very well made aluminum housing pressure regulator. comes with a pressure gauge, teflon tape, a hanging bracket and a wrench. The quick drain is pretty neat, you just need to pull on it to blow out any water that has built up. The fittings for air hoses are not included.
