Wasn't expecting much out of this but this paddle is very well made. The inside must be wood, it's very sturdy and solid. The faux leather doesn't feel too faux but it's very smooth and feels great on the skin. It delivers a nice loud this without the sting BUT can also delivery sting with enough force. Feels great to hold as well. Absolutely steal for the price.
