This light worked well for a few months, now it won’t come on at all, I changed the bulb and it still isn’t working. I purchased this item November 2024.

Very nice hanging lights. Remind me of a farmhouse .Only concern is the hot and neutral wires are not colour coded so I guessed and hoped for the best.They give lots of chain length! I only needed about 1ft .

This is a fairly small and simple light fixture, but I like the minimal, modern look. I used an Edison bulb with it (this doesn't come with a bulb) and it casts a pleasing light that's changed a bit by the textured glass.A few things to consider:• The bottom is open. To change the bulb, you just reach right in and unscrew it. I'm worried that it will be a great place for wasps to build a nest inside though.• The chain and the wires that follow the chain to the ceiling are very long. I ended up using only a single chain link because my porch is only around 8 feet high. The chain part was pretty simple to accomplish, but all of the extra wire had to be hidden inside the top part of the fixture, which was tricky and required two people.• It's difficult to impossible to change the rotation after installation. I don't like how mine is hanging diagonally, but I think the only way to fix it would be to essentially uninstall and change the connection of the mounting plate to the box, which would be limited to 90 degree angle changes anyway.• The instructions aren't very helpful, but if you've done something like this before, it's not all that difficult.
