This has been a useful tool when dealing with my Harley livewire. I haven’t had much need to life it up but when I do this jack gets the job done without issue and is secure and safe.I have also used it to prop up a few transmissions while I removed the engine and it’s just as effective if not more so lol.Until We Meet Again-Off The Grid Ken

This thing is kind of a beast. It's heavy, and that's not a bad thing. I feel totally confident that this will absolutely hold up and not fail on me. Materials and construction seem very very good. I do wish it would go a little higher, but it's not a deal breaker. If you need to wrench on things in your garage and the big floor jack is overkill for the job, this is a nice alternative to have for sure. I don't have a bike, but something like this is incredibly handy for multiple things in the garage. If you have ever tried to replace anything large underneath a jacked up vehicle for example, you know how useful it can be to have something like this with a flat spot to set things on and raise up to the car. It's a great addition to the garage for anyone.

Excellent jack. I ordered this for the sole purpose of removing the engine from my VW bus (yes, this is what's typically used to drop those out of the compartment). It is so basic that it's beautiful. Nothing complex, which can often give more things to go wrong. It's heavy duty and well made and has a much higher capacity than what I'm using it for. The action is smooth and worked exactly as I would have hoped. I have two more engines to do, so this will continue to be handy to work with. Very pleased with it.

The good part about a tool like this is it's simple. The bad part is "it's simple". LOL The mistakes and short comings show up right away. I'm happy to report that I have found none on this unit! It's built solid, works like it's supposed too and I think may actually be underrated for it's weight limit. (Please don't take my word for that alone.) I used it for my Victory to store over the winter and get it off the tires and now to service in the Spring and it's done its job well.Good price, good tool. Can't ask much more than that!

This jack is great! - Low-Profile, and easy to use.... Very sturdy, heavy duty - LIfted my Wide Glide no problem (you might need to use Spacer blocks between the jack and your frame if the frame rails aren't paralell or if your oil pan sits below the rails, just like any other jack) I also found that if you're careful you can store the tools inside the jack, and lower it to close and lock them inside for Storage. This will be useful for many other jobs too! LIft heavy furniture to replace feet, Lift heavy car/truck tires up to install, etc. Lots of things I usually use old scissor jacks for.Great Value, Good stability as well

This is a heavy-duty jack. Made of built-to-last material, you can be confident this will "hold up" its end of the deal. I appreciate the ‘grippy’ gloves that it came with (Maybe I won’t break a nail – ha). Super quality and simple to use even for a 5'1", 116 lb. gal like me!

This is a solid jack. It weighs more than 30 pounds. The lifting arms are more than 3/8-inch-thick solid steel, and the worm gear looks good. This jack came without any lubricant on it. The worm gear should be greased for smoother operation and longevity.I used a cordless impact wrench to quickly and effortlessly raise and lower this jack. The included 22mm socket is a nice touch, but it's only a 3/8-inch-drive socket so I needed a 3/8 to 1/2-inch adapter on my 1/2-inch drive wrench in order to use it.Here are pictures of the jack fully extended when jacking up my trail motorcycle. The maximum lift height of this jack is only 14.6 inches. That's not quite enough to get my front tire off the ground, and this is only a trail bike. A motocross bike will be even higher. Maximum height really needs to be 16 or 17 inches for these off-road motorcycles. Street bikes and some ATVs should be fine.I'd give this jack 5 stars if only it extended another couple of inches. Because it is a bit too short, I give it 4 stars. This is a very solid tool that should last a lifetime.

This thing costs about twice as much as the lightweight one I'm replacing, but you can see what it's paying for. The old was one rated at 1100lbs; this one at 1300. But it looks like it could easily handle twice the weight: It's a heavier gauge steel, it has really thick rubber pads on both top and bottom surfaces, it has ball bearing races on both sides of where the big screw goes through the wall of the top piece, it's wider by 2 or 3 inches, it includes a failure bar (not sure what it's actually called) that you can put in place in case the main screw fails (I've never seen one of these bars on a lift of this design before, but it's something that will give you peace of mind if you need to leave your bike raised for any length of time), and along with the tube wrench thing for turning the screw by hand, they include a socket so you can use a drill to turn it (22mm). This one also lifts higher by an inch or two than the old one. There's a chain cleaning brush too.The only negative I can think of is that the screw oddly needs grease right out of the box (they mention this in the instructions), so I lubed the screw, bearings, and all pivot points with white lithium grease first thing. No biggie, but you might not notice if you're not looking for it. Recommended.
