I’d say these output around 140db, which is louder than a siren. They are definitely loud and attention-getting. I tested mine on the battery, and the dog quickly ran off. The tone is fairly deep and sounds similar to a semi-truck. The wiring is pretty straightforward, but make sure the positive and negative connections are correct when hooking up the horn. Many older vehicles have the negative switched at the horn button instead of the positive. If you don’t hear a loud blast that makes your dog run away, you might have the power reversed.

I did laugh when they said 600 decibels in the description, figuring while it *probably* wasn't loud enough to wreck continents, it would at least be louder than a stock horn in a car.It's not... maybe they mean 90-100, since a jet engine is around 120 to 140 decibels and breaks things. It does have a nice clean tone and I think the construction and quality seems ok but... meh...To math nerd, the decibel scale isn't louder as it goes up, its log based. 1 more point is way louder than 1 more number on the dial of your volume knob, even if they go to 11.

I love driving around and surprising the kids with this horn—it’s incredibly loud! I connected it to my factory horn button on my steering wheel using a relay and a relay adapter, and it works flawlessly. The build quality is excellent, so it should last a long time.
